In this time of national crisis, all communities in our nation are being hit hard, but we aren’t helpless.  Even as we practice safe habits that keep ourselves physically distant, we can grow closer together in spirit and community, offering a helping hand to our most vulnerable neighbors.

Here for the Community

In addition to providing virtual workouts and Food Access, our ongoing efforts to support our members and the community include:

  • Engaging families with at-home conditioning workouts and virtual meetings. 7,387 views as of 5/15
  • Reaching out to members to check in on their well-being.
  • Phone Calls to wish Moms and Grandmothers a Happy Mother’s Day
  • Providing activities for parents to do with their children in our child care programs.
  • Donating personal protective equipment
  • Continuing to explore ways to support our most vulnerable community members

How You Can Help

Stay With Us

Now more than ever, your membership means more. As a non-profit organization, the loss of membership and program fees will bring significant financial challenges to our organization. The Leadership Team and Board of Directors are working diligently to develop a plan to sustain the Y and still be here for our community when this crisis ends. This plan will need to rely on a commitment from our members.

If you are able, we ask that you STAY WITH US to invest in the future of the Y.

Make a Charitable Gift to Support the Y

Whenever there is either a significant financial or health crisis, charitable institutions like the Y are frequently the most vulnerable and may fail, closing their doors. We would hate to see what our community will look like without the Y, and we hope you feel the same.

When we emerge from this crisis it will be more important than ever that the Y is able to open our doors to the community and continue to offer life-changing programs and services that include child care, swim lessons, chronic disease prevention programs, active older adult exercise classes, camp and so much more.

Please consider making a tax-deductible donation to support the Y’s future. DONATE NOW

How You Can Connect with Us

Even though the Y is closed, there are many ways for you to stay connected to the Y and contact our staff who are working remotely.

The best way to contact us is through email. Please visit the Leadership Team Page on our website for contact information.
