We’re an award winning, one of a kind marketplace that exists to improve the health and well-being of the Trenton community through fresh food access, nutrition education, health services, social activities, and economic development opportunities for local New Jersey farmers and entrepreneurs. With much support from the Trenton community, Capital Area YMCA, and other local, state, and federal collaborations, we are excited to be entering into our eighth market season next summer!

Grab n’ Go lunches for youth ages 18 and under served Mondays from 1-3pm.

The Greenwood Ave. Farmers Market is committed to producing a safe market operation that mitigates the spread of COVID-19 for our staff, vendors, and community, in accordance with current federal, state and local health regulations. In an effort to make our market safe and enjoyable for all, we ask that you help us reduce the spread of COVID-19 if you’ll be shopping with us at any point during the season by doing the following:

  • Stay Home If You’re Sick. If you feel sick, have a sick person at home or have been in contact with someone who has either tested positive for COVID-19 or has symptoms of COVID-19, please do not shop today.
  • When in doubt, Wash and Sanitize! Please visit our hand washing and sanitizing stations upon entering the market, as you exit, before eating, and any time in between that you deem necessary.
  • Face Masks Are Encouraged. You are welcome at the market with or without a mask, but we ask that you respect the choices of others should they choose to wear a mask or not. Free masks are available to everyone at the entrance upon request.
  • Wash Produce Before Eating. Thoroughly wash or scrub all fruits, vegetables, and herbs under clean, running water prior to eating them. 
  • Be Patient. We are all adjusting to the impact of COVID-19. Please be patient us with and each other.
  • Have Fun! We’re excited to welcome you back to the market and hope you come back throughout the rest of the season
