FREE MEALS FOR KIDS

The Capital Area YMCA serves 30 community organizations across the city, including the City of Trenton, serving meals at the city’s recreation centers, the Boys and Girls Club and others organizations providing breakfast, lunch, evening hot meals and snacks daily.

At the Capital Area YMCA, we believe no one in our community should have to choose between paying bills and putting food on the table. Yet for many families, seniors, and children in our area, food insecurity is a daily reality.

Through our Food Access Program, the Capital Area YMCA works to ensure that children have reliable access to nutritious food. This program provides essential meals to children daily and understands that these meals may be the only meal they receive during the week.

But we cannot do this work alone.
