Khadijah McQueen, The Capital Area YMCA’s very own Director of Food Access joined over 1,000 of her  fellow anti-hunger advocates in Washington, D.C., in late February where she was recognized for her outstanding contribution and advocacy for food access.

Khadijah shared her insights and knowledge where she lead a round-table discussion focusing on Year-Round Food Programs, After school Meals and Summer Meals.  This was a “can’t miss” networking opportunity that was content-rich, interactive and innovative.
